GRIFFIN TOILET HIRE FOLLOWERS RECYCLE TOILET ROLLS for their Christmas Competition. Griffin Toilet Hire love to engage with their followers via social media. We find competitions are one of the best ways to get feedback from Facebook and Twitter. Our Christmas competition for 2018 is to make something from a toilet roll. We have had a lot of entries and we are offering 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.
Competition EntriesĀ
The entries have been fairly varied including crackers made from a recycle toilet roll to Christmas tree decorations and free standing displays.
Recycling Policy
As well as encouraging engagement from our followers, as a company we also encourage recycling. Re- using and recycling is good for the environment and lessens our impact on the world and the current global problem of rubbish, especially plastic in our oceans.
As a company our sustainability policy encourages recycling of paper, card, glass and some plastics.
- Paper: Recycled
- Glass: Recycled
- Tin: Recycled
- Plastic: Recycled where possible
- Wood: Re-used or burnt (log burner)
- Card: Recycled
- Food: Compost Bin
- Tissue: Burnt / bin
- Hand Towel: Burnt / bin
- Liquid Waste: Taken to Waste Treatment Centre – paper copies taken for signature
- Solid Waste: Taken to Waste Treatment Centre – paper copies taken for signature
- Chemical: Taken to Waste Treatment Centre – paper copies taken for signature
- Scrap: Taken to local Recycling Centres
Employees are expected to turn off lights, turn off heaters, not leave water running and not leave vehicles running while not in use.
